I am so sick of hearing the pharaceutical industry using the 'we need an incentive to conduct research' as a reason to further restrict fair use of a patented, and thus disclosed, invention. what is the point of getting a patent if it cannot be used and invented around in the name of progress? the drug industry is already heavily subsidized by government dollars through universities and otherwise. gimme a break.
